Summerset

Sandwiches SummerSet is an annual music festival that bids farewell to summer in New Zealand's capital with style. Founded in 2007 by the team behind Sandwiches, the 12 hour festival takes place at Wellington's iconic Basin Reserve cricket ground, and has featured an impressive lineup of international and local artists each year. The festival has become a major fixture in Wellingtons events calender and is part of Sandwiches continued commitment to bringing the biggest and brightest stars on the global music scene to New Zealand shores, whilst providing a platform for the up and coming and soon to be huge.

In 2010, due to an extra heavy international and domestic cricket schedule at the Basin Reserve, it has been impossible to secure an appropriate date - and unwilling to relocate from the hallowed turf SummerSet will be having a well earned rest year.

But don't panic! Plans are already well in place for March 2011...
